MEET THE ARTIST

There is no ordinary way to describe what it feels like to be trusted with someone's wedding day. To be surrounded by the people they love most, witnessing what passes between them, holding what moves through the room. David has spent over a decade in this work, across Northern California and beyond, and that feeling has never once become ordinary.

David grew up in a large family, gathered often around his grandmother, and he understood early what it means for the people you love to be together in one place. A wedding carries that same weight. It is a gathering of the people you love most, in one place for a moment that will not come again exactly as it is.

On the day itself, David moves quietly, without a shot list, letting moments arrive rather than arranging them. He is not there to direct, but to witness. To be present for that much love, and to be let into it fully, gives back more than the work asks.
