About Their Film

There's a rawness that only comes from film, and Kristina and Zach's wedding was captured entirely that way. No audio, no second takes, just a single lens catching a moment before it's gone. That kind of shooting asks for a different kind of presence: less equipment, less setup, more attention paid to what's actually happening in front of you. At The Estate Yountville, that meant staying close to a black-tie celebration full of laughter, a full wedding party in motion, and a reception that carried on late into the night. What Super 8 gives back is texture you can't fake: grain, light, imperfection, the feeling of a memory rather than a recording. This film doesn't document the day. It remembers it.
